1. Installation and usage
-------------------------

To install the fortunes, copy the jargon and jargon.dat file to your
fortunes directory. (possibly /usr/games/lib/fortunes)

To use it, simply type:

fortune jargon

These fortunes are based on version 4.2.0 of the Jargon File.

To install the jargon2fortune utility, type 'make' followed by 'make
install'. This utility reads the vanilla HTML-version of the Jargon File
called jargon.html, parses it to a fortune source file and then executes
strfile to create the fortune.dat file.

2. Availability
---------------

You can always get the latest version from my website:
http://capsi.cx/code-jargonfortunes.html

3. Acknowledgments
------------------

You can read all about the Jargon File on http://www.jargon.org/

4. Contacting the author
------------------------

Where author means author of the fortune file as is and the conversion
utility, and not the maintainer of the Jargon File itself, of course.
